Mind-Body Healing and Energy Medicine Resources for the Pandemic

So today is going to be really fun. I'm sharing all kinds of resources from the world of energy medicine, energy healing, mind/body healing and spirituality.  If this does not appeal to you - no worries! 

I love this realm because it is full of possibilities.  As a recovered chronic dieter and people pleaser, I spent most of my life trying to find the "right" answers and do the "right" thing.

I love the world of the spirit because it reminds us that there is no such thing and that "right" is different for every person. It also reminds us to go within to find out what that is. It asks us to question, "What Else is Possible?"

So without further ado - here are some spiritually-based healing resources for the day.  I won't be surprised if you find yourself challenged by some of them or flat out disagree and that's ok! Everyone gets to choose for themselves what they want to believe. 

In the world of energy medicine, Donna Eden is one of the leaders. Here is are some energy medicine techniques from her newsletter this week. 

And here is an energy medicine routine from Prune Harris, another pillar of the energy medicine community.  I have to say - when I did the windshield wiper exercise it really did feel refreshing. 

Dr. Kim D'Eramo is also one of my favorite mentors when it comes to Mind Body medicine and here is a short talk she gave recently on current events. If this resonates, here is a longer version and she has a free Facebook group too where you can interact and ask questions and get support from the community. 

Here is what Teal Swan has to say about everything going on. Very thought-provoking! She asks us to reflect on, what is the coronavirus telling you that you want and need? 

For a really deep dive - here is what Matt Kahn says about what is happening lately.  It's a little hard to follow so let me know if you'd like me to translate and summarize for you! 

From the live intention session yesterday with Lynne McTaggart, this was the intention that about 3,000 people held in their hearts for 10 minutes together.  It was so powerful. You can use this intention too as you send love and healing across the globe. Don't underestimate the power of connecting with your heart and sharing that with the world. It's the most powerful thing there is. 

"Our intention is that in every area in the world where the coronavirus is becoming epidemic that it be immediately, permanently and completely curtailed by at least 10 percent or more, with no more fatalities, so that rapid transmission drastically declines."

Speaking of our hearts, here is a free program from HeartMath that will help kids learn how to regulate their emotions and connect with their hearts. And this link for the Quick Coherence technique will help parents do the same. 

Here is a free resource from Hay House.  Hay House is well known for supporting spiritual thought leaders like Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, and Louise Hay. 

They also have a tendency to promote fear-based books and videos that support healthism and can make people feel fearful about their choices - so use your body as a guide when exploring their resources. I love Louise Hay's You Can Heal Your Life book and movie, for example, but it doesn't feel good to my body when I see them promote what are essentially diet books or books that suggest "do this or else!" 

Here is the latest episode from the Jess Lively podcast - helping us remember to check in with our inner voices when it comes to making choices to support our health. 

And last, here is an energy update from intuitive Lee Harris who helps put into perspective what is happening and why it is happening and can help us process it all.

How are you doing today?

My husband just got back from traveling and has a sore throat so we have locked him in the basement! I'll be diving into some of the energy medicine routines for myself today and maybe re-watching You Can Heal Your Life while drinking some hot tea to calm and soothe myself. 

Which reminds me - make sure to tune into your intention when deciding to practice or not to practice some of the different offerings. If you feel like you are full of fear and thinking "I need to do X,Y or Z or I'm doomed" - that is never true and not coming from your higher wisdom or your inner voice.

See if you can sit quietly and let bubble up what it is that will really serve your sanity from a place of strength and groundedness rather than choose from fear.
