Love Is the Foundation for Peace with Food and Body
As corny as it sounds, I do believe that love is how we will heal the world.
If loving my body can get me to eat kale with joy, then love can do anything.
All jokes aside, it has become abundantly clear to me in the last year that loving ourselves is the single most important thing we can do for ourselves.
It is from the space of love that all other actions will arise and those actions will naturally be for our highest good because they came from love.
When I step into love, I have this burning desire to support and nurture and nourish and care for my body as if I was caring for my own child.
With love, nothing feels like a chore, it feels like an opportunity.
Why wouldn't I want to eat foods that make me feel good? Why wouldn't I want to get adequate rest? Why wouldn't I want to drink lots of water? Why wouldn't I want to dance and jump around and move my body in all kinds of different ways?
The energy of love is the most powerful force on the planet and it's the thing that will get us through all the change that is happening around us.
Loving ourselves and loving others - even as we all appear to do things imperfectly is essential.
The practice might take some time, so don't beat yourself up if it doesn't come easily. We are always doing the best we can with what we have in each moment.
What are some ways you like to practice being love?
Here are some of the things I do, (and this changes all the time) and some interesting resources I have come across lately that might support you on your journey to loving yourself, your body, and your life.

This resource to increase the brain chemicals of happiness popped into my inbox last week and looks amazing.

Listening to channeled messages from Sara Landon.
There is no end to the ways we can practice allowing more love into our lives. Every day and every week might look different. The key is to find what speaks to you.
The more you practice being love and coming from a space of love, the more everything else will fall into place - your food, your weight, your health.
At a time when the outside world is changing at a rapid pace and things are very unknown and uncertain, it's comforting to know the most powerful resource on the planet resides within us and no one can take it away.
Sending you all my love,
Elizabeth
