The Emotional Eater

Your eating style is best defined by The Emotional Eater.

This probably isn't a surprise to you. You have good intentions. You want to take good care of your body. You want to feel good and have lots of energy. And yet, something seems to take over when it comes to food and it feels like you have no control. Even when you have planned out satisfying and nutritious meals, you can find yourself elbow deep in the freezer pulling out the Ben & Jerry's at 9 pm or munching away on chips all afternoon. What gives?

As the title suggests, an emotional eater is driven by their emotions more than their physical needs for food. Everyone does this on occasion. It’s part of being human. This habit is your body's brilliant way of helping you get what you need.

And now, by completing this quiz, you’ve taken a giant step toward understanding and healing your emotional relationship with food and body. Knowing that your emotions sometimes dominate your relationship with food is great information. Now you can focus on exploring your feelings and stop beating yourself up about the ice cream.

By investing time and energy into understanding your patterns, re-programming your mindset, and expanding your emotional intelligence, you will be well on your way to peace, ease, and joy with your body and with food.

“Even in the dark soil, a seed is becoming something beautiful.”
